We do forestry differently.
We aim to make forestry and agroforestry more beneficial for the communities who depend on forests for their livelihood. Our impact has been our focus on partnering with communities and promoting land tenure, while helping to meet the growing global demand for tropical wood.
Long term, we want to empower communities to create and manage their own profitable forestry projects.
To date here's what we've done:
27,500 trees planted
19,250 native trees planted
25 hectares of land reforested
37 hectares of land under sustainable management
$40,000+ in income for smallholder supplier individuals
We use IRIS to track the social, environmental, and financial performance of our operations.
